There are many different aspects that form Web 2.0 that can be misleading but at the same time intriguing. Some of us have no idea what Web 2.0 is and why is it important? When someone says “I want Web 2.0” what does this mean? It means this person or business would like to take advantage of new technologies and techniques to obtain a higher market share. Have you ever used YouTube or Yahoo? If so, then you already know a little bit about Web 2.0.This big topic could be broken down into two large components: Web Front and Services. The Web Front would include the use of Flash, AJAX, and other technologies to provide a user with a better web experience. Services are reusable pieces of code that are broken down into individual tasks or services that allow applications to be added or removed with little to no affect to the infrastructure of your company. Not all businesses need to jump on the Web 2.0 bandwagon to survive but with a future full on uncertainty it would be wise to consider it an option if your business wants to grow and stay competitive.
